Sorry for the recent lack of posts. For some reason everything has piled up and on top of that all I've been doing is writing notes for yearlies. Thankfully I've done almost all my chem and bio notes, so after those everything should be written fairly quickly :)
This week as been as week of tears I'm afraid. I was confronted by Thwaites about dropping music...which ended in tears. Its not so much that he was yelling and/or was really scary but when he talks, he confuses me, which stresses me out which finally leads to tears. I remember walking up to boi and the group after and when I tried to say to boi I talked to Thwaites, another wave of tears came so it sounded like squealing coupled with sobbing and trying not to let my boogers drip...which isn't the greatest sound. I'm definitely definitely DEFINITELY dropping it now...and picking up extension 2...yay? haha This morning me and my sister had a mini dnm, which I won't get into too much, but it resulted in my crying almost first thing in the morning :( My eyes stung for the rest of the day.
Anyway, on Friday night was Mariel's schools variety night which was basically like a talent quest. I was sooo nervous about going, mainly because Christine wasn't going so I'd be hanging around all the HAHS kids and lets face it...I'm shy :( When I got there, Mariel met me on the road and we were just talking about who was there. I found out that Luke and Kyleen were there - thank god - and so was avi. I must admit, I was on the fence about how I felt. I was still conflicted, not knowing whether I had it in my heart to forgive, or the strength to forget. No doubt the opportunity presented itself whether I liked it or not. I was greet by Ky with a tackle hug - I've missed that girl so much and it was fantastic to see her again! I was then talking to Mariel in which she said oh go say hi to my parents and then I was like in a sec and then she said wait and I said okay lets go and we walked off and she was like dude avi was there and I said yeah I know, he has to come talk to ME first and she said yeah thats what he was doing ...but I didn't know :( SOO I looked/felt like a total bitch. :( Anyway I said hi to her parents and then ky comes up to me and said avi was going to talk to me...but I walked away and I told her I knew and felt bad...to which avi comes up and asks to talk to me. I definitely pictured this moment a lot different in my head. I thought my heart would be beating a kajillion times per second, my palms would sweat, I wouldn't be able to speak - for those who truly know me, I thought my ears would turn tomato red - and I thought there would be tears. Surprisingly there was none of that. Listening to him apologise was what I wanted. I had finally gotten the apology I was waiting for for the last 9-ish months. In the end, I realised, there wasn't much to forgive because I was over it. I didn't cry, I wasn't angry...I was...nothing really. I told him there was nothing to stress about to which he replied that there can't just be nothing. I think with this type of situation, the friendship just needs time to grow again and if it can get as strong as it was before, it'd definitely be a plus in my life.
Anyway, variety night was very good. It consisted of lame jokes from the MC's, some great musical performances, and Mariel's groups awesome dance. I must admit I wanted to get up and dance too...but I'd probably get booed off the stage :( All in all, it was a great night and it was fantastic to see Luke and ky again.
On Saturday, me , cindy and branda went to the UTS/USYD open days. Maz was going to meet us in the city..and BAM luke came along - yay! It was awesome spending more time with him and the girls. I think I found what I want to do too, nutrition and dietetics. YAY for having direction in life :)
Today we had our music recital where we'd get marked on our performances for our yearly marks. I was so happy when I realised this would be the last ever time I'd be playing because I'd be dropping music YAYAYAYYAYAYAYA. Funnily enough, with the weight lifted off I played it really good no big head or anything okay?!. Except for some reason, in one bit, I forgot the chord...which I had never done before...which lead to my eventual break down. But I picked it up and ended okay! :) Everyone else was amazing! I wish I had photos :(
SO to end this extremely long post,
I hope you all have a carefree week and remember you can go the distance!
xx

so glad its the end of the week. Only one week to go till holidays yayayayayay! I'd like to say I'm assessment free, but I still have my viva to do on Tuesday :/ Although I'm feeling less stressed about it. But Thwaites keeps saying to me no tears...which is weird and if anything, makes me want to cry more :( :(
On another note, I got gifted a pair of high-waisted jeans and they are amazinggggg :) A size too big but I can get away with it.
Hope you're all very well. To everyone that is completing uni exams good luck! :) ehehe and everyone on holidays I hate you :( Can school be over already? gosh so over it.
Anywhoos, the crazy week of assessment tasks has past and just when I thought I was free...helloooooo music viva. Kill me now please. For everyone who doesn't know what a viva voce is, its called a "discussion", so basically you get a topic - our one is 'conveying a character', choose a piece/pieces then talk about it...you'd think it's like a speech...hahaha no. the marker asks you questions. zzzzzzz I wish it was a speech :( :(
Onto other news, me and karen are doing a duet for the piano recital at school. We're doing an Argentinian Tango. hehee. I swear I want to play it with a rose in my mouth or something. HAHAHA. We played it for the class today and Thwaites and Calder full got into it I was like errrr...we're not THAT amazing (A) *insert giant head*
Speaking of, in legal we were talking about the differences between girls and boys in terms of academia and stuff and Sekuloski said something like generally girls get the higher atars and stuff then someone - who shall remain nameless- was like EXCEPT ME. ...he was a boy...and I was like errr okay because he's always a bit arrogant and in legal he always tries to compete with Sanar and Me...well less me now cos I'm doing terribly but after exams and stuff he'll always ask how we went and stuff and I just want to be like I whooped your ass so don't bother asking. ANYWAY, at the end of the lesson there was another statement like oh girls generally do better at social science subjects because they like discussions and stuff and he goes again OH I DO AS WELL AS THEM!...and that was it I got sooooo angry I was like ahh I can feel your head from here...and he went full quiet. I don't care if I was the biggest bitch out, if theres one thing I cannot take is arrogance when you're smart. OKAY! :@ At least try to remain modest. Its not hard. GOSH!
*end rant
Well I leave you lovelies with a lovely upbeat song :) click it.
Stay amazing and remember be a modest mouse.
xx
hehehe I totally remember all my french from years 8-10. HAHAHA. I swear I feel like going back to The Little Snail in the city and eating some french food :9 If only it wasn't so damn expensive.
OKAY so HEY everyone :) Its been a week since I've last posted which I find very odd as I haven't actually had any work/exams/assessments since last week. HAHAHA. All I've been doing is well...colouring in and stuff HAHAHA. Let me tell you, I found colouring in hard as a kid, you know staying inside the lines and what not...I still find it hard -.- This, guys, is why I do not do va. HAHAHA.
On monday we got our bio exams back; 42/50 everybodyyyyy! which now puts me first in bio as well as chem :$ :$ :$ Let me tell you, studying chem and bio instead of legal really paid off! HAHAHA We also got our legal results - that was today though...not monday...excuse my mixed up times!!!!- 43/50, which I'm extremely happy about. A lot of people got higher than me which was to be expected and lets face it, they deserve it. So congratulations to Cindy, Trinh and Sanar (: OH and with bio, Kenneth, Daniel AND Cindy all did extremely well with Kenneth topping his class! I'm so proud of our bio group :)
In advanced, we're doing Emma/Clueless and everybody who knows/has read Emma knows my pain right now :( We've been given a total of like 39 questions about the book and she keeps rushing us to read it and stuff. She says things like you just need to dedicate 3 or so days to read it or you need to sit down for 3 hours and just read. LIKE WE HAVE 3 HOURS TO SPARE IN OUR LIVES! *end rant.
Oh I've also paid for my bio excursion and me and Cindy are going to wear matching gumboots and raincoats yeeeeeeey! I went looking for a pair of gumboots but they're hard to find in adult sizes :( I could only find kids sizes and its not even like 3 or 4 which I might fit its like 7 :( two words. sad. life.
Onto other news, music is looking to be a grrrreat subject right now. Okay so basically this whole week we've done theory. A triple period of theory is basically death. I'm dead right now. :( We were listening to the Darth Vader theme (Imperial March) and Thwaites was asking us like stuff about his character and we had to like think about what qualities about Darth Vader do the music convey - i.e. power etc etc. Obviously everyone was dead, so what did he do? Make us walk around the room like Darth Vader -.-. We were put into groups of like 6 and one group at a time had to walk like Darth Vader. Thwaites told us our group was the worst. :( BOOO. But we had to go first so we set the bar...just everyone exceeded it :( We also had a theory task where we had to break down a theme that represents a character. Apparently Thwaites thinks if we were in year 12 I'd be topping it ...:$ EHEHEH hellooooooo self esteem (A)
I'm looking forward to getting my extension mark back- I worked so hard for that. Anyway, I hope you all have a great weekend!
Stay crazy and remember we have 2 ears and 1 mouth and therefore should listen twice as much as we speak.
xx

okay I might've started my last post with the same greeting but I really can't remember, you guys know I have a dodgy memory. Also I'm in a very spanish speaking mood. As I'm typing this I'm speaking spanish with daniel. ahhaa. I must admit our vocabulary is very limited, with our primary word being
- Hola
- Amigo
- Gracias
- Como estas?
- Estoy Bien gracias
- Senor
- Senorita
- Si
- No.

OKAY soooo today is a much better day. My relationship with chemistry has healed a bit. We're on speaking terms now so its progress :) I spent lunch with tommy and he fully explained the redox equations to me and actually went through it...really slowly. :D I made the realisation that it was exactly a week ago we spent lunch together except I was helping him with english. the student has become the master?
Anyway, at any rate, Tommy has been an awesome friend and he's a great teacher..even if he is a bio-hater.
me: ngaw don't stress about it [3u hsc half yearly]
T: I'll try not to :)
M: good :) and if you ever need someone to laugh with tell me I'll tell you some grrreat biology jokes.
T: biology itself is a joke. JOKES. oh god.
M: do you want to die?
-----
M: LOVE BIO (L), wish it wasn't on the same day as chem. FML
T: I feel sorry for B. Chem, Pd, Textiles all on the same day.
M: yeah I heard. I was like ngawww :( can you pity me as well please?
T: I feel sorry for you...doing bio.
M: RUDE.
Secretly he loves it. Or he will one day. The biggest smile was on his face when we found out chem and bio were on the same day.
Now that me and chem are better...music has decided to be annoying so now I have the shits with it. I love how I talk about them as if they're actual people HAHAHA. It's decided it wants to have all this theory I have to learn :(. Even though these last 2 weeks have been really cool - doing nothing but prac- I suppose it was time to buckle down and do some theory. but we have some dumb definitions task due next week; and here I was thinking this week I could just write notes. :( FML.
I found these photos on my phone today, I had totally forgotten Karen had taken them last...tuesday during music.
Have an awesome weekend guys, stay lovely and remember when you know a song/movie through a wall, you know it too well.

Well Miss Lim has finished all her assignments. I still have chem to hand in tomorrow but its printed and ready to go. I don't care if there isn't sufficient amount of information I DID IT! :@:@:@:@:@:@
Onto more happier news, I've been helping a few people with their english essays and its so refreshing to have people ask me for help (A) hellooooo self-esteem boost :)
Okay so I've only helped 2 people - Tommy and Ricky- but they actually understood what I was saying and they were answering my questions and asking questions and AHHH it just made me feel good :) So yeah, people don't believe me when I say I'll help them anytime they're just like oh yahh shes just being nice but I really do mean anytime. I gave up 2 of my lunchtimes to help these friends of mine and I'd do it again for them anytime..ANYTIME :D
ALSO thwaites has approved my film-song for my music assessment - Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies. Yes it sounds creepy but its so pretty as well. Click it.
Until next time, stay calm and remember everything is edible, the question is will it kill you?
xx

Well I think its safe to say its definitely the end of term because god knows everythings now due! :(
Firstly, english assignment. If I have to write the word 'institution' one more time I think my head will explode. I should clarify, its our AOS and its seriously the worst I've ever heard :( Our texts are even pretty shit. First, a play, that no one has heard about, thus I cannot find information on it via google -dammit- and secondly, a provided picture, which is a photograph, thus techniques such as symbolism, metaphors etc cannot be used...BECAUSE ITS NOT INTENTIONAL *cue stress.
I don't know, maybe I'm being a bit melodramatic about it all. :(
Secondly, legal assignment. I've also finished this but it needs some work. I feel like I'm repeating myself so much :( Gonna fail it...and its worth 20% WTHH. so much weighting :(
I also had my music assessment this week. I couldn't have asked for a better group :') I'm seriously thankful to every person in my group for the amount of effort and resistance to complaining they put in. I'll admit I was a bit tyrannical but they're all such great people and I'm glad everything came together in the end. So a BIG thank you to Cindy, Daniel, Phillip and Minh for an awesome term of blues - even though we're sick of it. (L) Love you guys.

ALSO I'm soo exciiiited to go watch The Hunger Games with Karen :D yes we're gonna go see it (L). Cannot wait. it'll be a nice reward for finishing all my assessments :D WEEEW. Plus it'll be me and karens first dinner/movie date (L)(L).
ALSO, this afternoon I got to walk home with the second newest addition to my friend list ALEX :) - drawing to be added HAHAHA. He also is so nice!
Me: So stressed, so many assignments, plus I'm so over english
A: yeah I've noticed you've been a bit down.
I should specify, he sits almost next to me in english. but ngawww :') He is really nice though. He's also reeeeallly easy to talk to. He also likes physics and maths :( HAHAHAHA. But yes we walked together for about 15 minutes and already I sense a wonderful friendship :) I love people that I can just so easily talk to. Which you know isn't hard for me because I just talk...and talk...and talk...but I don't know...he talks..and talks...and talks too so it evens out :)

Well week one...technically two of school is finally over.
Assignment count: 2
Totally regret choosing Chem and Legal now :( I swear in chem I have random bursts of knowing a lot of things and then suddenly having no idea whats going on. Hmm. Need to find a chem tutor that ISN'T my sister.
Maths has been okay. The first chapter Basic Arithmetic is as easy as it sounds. Except for one question in absolute value but whatever. Mr Nguyen almost made it through a whole three days without pissing me off. He calls himself a teacher. tuh.
Oh and Thwaites is trying to get us to join some blog-type-tumblr site thing for bookmarking stuff and he's like oh you can do a page for each of your subjects and people can follow you, why would anyone want to follow my links to sites about biology, chemistry and/or legal studies?
Otherwise its been a very interesting week. Fahrenheit 451, The Trial and The Hunger Games has finally made its way to the library and into my house. I started reading Fahrenheit 451 but its lagging a bit and like Nineteen Eighty-Four it took me a while to adjust to the crazy voodoo world its set in. But its bound to get better :)
Extension has officially been scheduled on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 7:40 :( Totally regret choosing it. But hopefully I'll do really good and beat everybody >:D ehehe.
I'm so excited for dancing tomorrow! Even though Kaylas off visiting her boyfy in England, it'll still be amazing to see Christine and Mariel :) I've already
Well this weekend proves to be almost homework free which is great but I hope I get to briefly talk to Kyleen soon! I feel that I have so many things to tell her :L
I leave you with the song thats now playing constantly in my mind...even though its old, enjoy lovelies
