hope you're all surviving the freezing weather. personally I'm surprised I have lost my toes to frost bite. However, due to intense rain and wind, I've had to take refuge in the library- huddled up in front of a gas heater. Can I get gas poisoning from those?
Weather - 1. Mel - 0. :(
Actually spending lunches at the library isn't so bad. On the first day I taught Mary some chem which made me feel really good! I'm finally starting to get the hang on calculating moles and mass-mass questions and all that other shiz so yay! :)
Well, I finally got my english half yearly back. 24/30. :) :) :) I'm so so so so happy that I didn't fail :D I was surprised when I saw my creative writing mark - 13/15. I was seriously about to cry. It was even marked by Menezes and Devlin :D :D Congrats to Denise and Youtry who aced it, 27 and 26 respectively. You guys did our class proud :)
I also got my extension mark back - 11/15 YAYAYAYYAYAYA :D I am so glad I didn't fail that as well! As far as I know, 2 other people have gotten 11, and its the highest. But I haven't asked anyone so as far as I know, I'm equal first. WEEEEW :) Congrats to Sarah and Jessica! You deserve it girls :)
So today I missed out on a double period of english and maths to do some music conference thing. It was such a waste of my time. Seriously just spent like 4 hours talking with Karen and Daniel. SOO FRUSTRATING! Mainly because I asked if I could not go but nooooooo; thwaites insisted it was the most amazing thing that couldn't be missed :@ *sighhh* now I have to spend my weekend catching up. yay me :(
But enough complaining! Much to look forward like...ITS THE WEEKEND! :)
I hope you all have a great one!
stay beautiful and remember when life gives you lemons, keep 'em, because hey, its free lemons!

I got really upset because I thought it wasn't being televised on channel 9 - which the website said it would - but then I realised that this week is just the qualifying matches, that is, they're incredibly boring HAHA. Cannot wait till Nadal plays (L) (L). I've been watching a whole bunch of his interviews and his accent is just so oixasyrehsajdhssd (L)_____(L); gotta get me a spaniard. I hope everyones geared up for it :)
Speaking of getting geared up, I'm also soooo excited for the new season of Suits. :D:D:D:D Airing in the US like 10th of June - meaning I can download it hahaha. YAAAAAY :D
I swear, over the next month I'm going to be so anti its not funny. I'm pretty sure Awkward is going to start soon, must check that.
Anywayyyys :)
I'm so scared to go school tomorrow. I'm getting my english half yearly and my extension assessment back :'( :'( Apparently the highest mark for the essay section of my extension assessment was 7/10 :( doubtful I got it. Also, Devlin marked my creative writing. wahh. If you don't hear from me in over a week, I've died from failure :( :(
Anyway, this was just a quick post to let you all know I'm still here!
I'll do a better post later hopefully later this week!
Stay amazing and remember why'd you laugh when I know that you hurt inside.

hope you've all had a great first day back at school. :D heres to a great term 2! =D
to all year 11's, good luck in your half-yearlies :) Hope you had an awesome holiday filled with lots of studying so you're not too stressed now...no? okay. Here's to late night cramming :)
My schedules not too bad, goes a little something like this :
its actually really good. most of them are in the morning so I get to go home early. yeeey :)
I'm still upset that chem and bio are on the same day, but that just means I'm gonna kick science ass (H)
English today was pretty good. The short answer questions were stupid to say the least. The texts themselves were alright. I really liked the poem "The Subtleties of our Lives" and the extract was alright, but the picture was soooo dodgy. looked like clip art taken from word or something. :(
Extension was amazing. I was so worried and nervous before hand. One time I practised I talked so fast no one understood me. Someone even asked if I was breathing :/ But I was called thorough (H) ehehe except she told me that I had to learn how to breathe..oops? :)
Okay so yesterday - I know its a bit out of order - but yesterday I got chilli in my eye. D: LET ME TELL YOU; you thought onion was bad, chilli is 37298173146932 times worse :( I couldnt study for english properly for like an hour because it would keep getting irritated. I won't even bore you with the specifics of how I got it in my eye, but lets just say I won't be chopping vegetables then rubbing my eyes for a very long time.
OH and the other day I had a dream where Ben from dance academy fell in love with me (A) its cos im pretty isnt it? LOL :D knew it.

Well I think its safe to say its definitely the end of term because god knows everythings now due! :(
Firstly, english assignment. If I have to write the word 'institution' one more time I think my head will explode. I should clarify, its our AOS and its seriously the worst I've ever heard :( Our texts are even pretty shit. First, a play, that no one has heard about, thus I cannot find information on it via google -dammit- and secondly, a provided picture, which is a photograph, thus techniques such as symbolism, metaphors etc cannot be used...BECAUSE ITS NOT INTENTIONAL *cue stress.
I don't know, maybe I'm being a bit melodramatic about it all. :(
Secondly, legal assignment. I've also finished this but it needs some work. I feel like I'm repeating myself so much :( Gonna fail it...and its worth 20% WTHH. so much weighting :(
I also had my music assessment this week. I couldn't have asked for a better group :') I'm seriously thankful to every person in my group for the amount of effort and resistance to complaining they put in. I'll admit I was a bit tyrannical but they're all such great people and I'm glad everything came together in the end. So a BIG thank you to Cindy, Daniel, Phillip and Minh for an awesome term of blues - even though we're sick of it. (L) Love you guys.

ALSO I'm soo exciiiited to go watch The Hunger Games with Karen :D yes we're gonna go see it (L). Cannot wait. it'll be a nice reward for finishing all my assessments :D WEEEW. Plus it'll be me and karens first dinner/movie date (L)(L).
ALSO, this afternoon I got to walk home with the second newest addition to my friend list ALEX :) - drawing to be added HAHAHA. He also is so nice!
Me: So stressed, so many assignments, plus I'm so over english
A: yeah I've noticed you've been a bit down.
I should specify, he sits almost next to me in english. but ngawww :') He is really nice though. He's also reeeeallly easy to talk to. He also likes physics and maths :( HAHAHAHA. But yes we walked together for about 15 minutes and already I sense a wonderful friendship :) I love people that I can just so easily talk to. Which you know isn't hard for me because I just talk...and talk...and talk...but I don't know...he talks..and talks...and talks too so it evens out :)

Thank god its the weekend. It still doesnt occur to my brain that as the weeks go by, the closer each assignment gets to being due thus I should probably start them...any one of them will do. HAHAHA smart one mel .
Well today I took a trip to my dentist and I got my bottom jaw braces. I'm in for a night of pain :(
excuse my retarded smile in the first photo. its not my fault. the lady shoved some cement stuff on two of my back teeth to prevent me from fully closing my jaw because if I did I'd be chewing on my bracket - the square things. SO I can't eat properly, talk properly or smile properly. when I clench my jaw, I can shove my tongue through my teeth. thats how bad it is. :( I dont think I'll ever get used to it.
Also I have a spring in my step. lol jks. thats my mouth :( You can probably see it - not very well - but its there D: my teeth already hurt and its only been about 4 hours :(
Onto other news, I handed in my creative piece for advanced and got it back :( There was green pen all over it :( Sadlyf. I hate creative writing. Its something I've never been good at and lets face it guys, I never will be :(
I'm super duper excited for talent quest on monday. My group is nowhere near prepared - well we kinda are- but full shit talking with rickys the best bit...is that the right word? where you're all whats the point of practising, you're going to lose anyway HAHAHA. I must admit, Ricky said that :( He's gonna be sorry when we win hehehe :)
heres to a weekend filled with ice cream and sore teeth.
have a great one and remember you can gamble everything for love if you're free, you gotta gotta gamble everything for love (L).
xx
P.S: click it.
