bonjour mes amis! :)hehehe I totally remember all my french from years 8-10. HAHAHA. I swear I feel like going back to The Little Snail in the city and eating some french food :9 If only it wasn't so damn expensive.
OKAY so HEY everyone :) Its been a week since I've last posted which I find very odd as I haven't actually had any work/exams/assessments since last week. HAHAHA. All I've been doing is well...colouring in and stuff HAHAHA. Let me tell you, I found colouring in hard as a kid, you know staying inside the lines and what not...I still find it hard -.- This, guys, is why I do not do va. HAHAHA.
On monday we got our bio exams back; 42/50 everybodyyyyy! which now puts me first in bio as well as chem :$ :$ :$ Let me tell you, studying chem and bio instead of legal really paid off! HAHAHA We also got our legal results - that was today though...not monday...excuse my mixed up times!!!!- 43/50, which I'm extremely happy about. A lot of people got higher than me which was to be expected and lets face it, they deserve it. So congratulations to Cindy, Trinh and Sanar (: OH and with bio, Kenneth, Daniel AND Cindy all did extremely well with Kenneth topping his class! I'm so proud of our bio group :)
In advanced, we're doing Emma/Clueless and everybody who knows/has read Emma knows my pain right now :( We've been given a total of like 39 questions about the book and she keeps rushing us to read it and stuff. She says things like you just need to dedicate 3 or so days to read it or you need to sit down for 3 hours and just read. LIKE WE HAVE 3 HOURS TO SPARE IN OUR LIVES! *end rant.
Oh I've also paid for my bio excursion and me and Cindy are going to wear matching gumboots and raincoats yeeeeeeey! I went looking for a pair of gumboots but they're hard to find in adult sizes :( I could only find kids sizes and its not even like 3 or 4 which I might fit its like 7 :( two words. sad. life.
Onto other news, music is looking to be a grrrreat subject right now. Okay so basically this whole week we've done theory. A triple period of theory is basically death. I'm dead right now. :( We were listening to the Darth Vader theme (Imperial March) and Thwaites was asking us like stuff about his character and we had to like think about what qualities about Darth Vader do the music convey - i.e. power etc etc. Obviously everyone was dead, so what did he do? Make us walk around the room like Darth Vader -.-. We were put into groups of like 6 and one group at a time had to walk like Darth Vader. Thwaites told us our group was the worst. :( BOOO. But we had to go first so we set the bar...just everyone exceeded it :( We also had a theory task where we had to break down a theme that represents a character. Apparently Thwaites thinks if we were in year 12 I'd be topping it ...:$ EHEHEH hellooooooo self esteem (A)
I'm looking forward to getting my extension mark back- I worked so hard for that. Anyway, I hope you all have a great weekend!
Stay crazy and remember we have 2 ears and 1 mouth and therefore should listen twice as much as we speak.
xx

DON'T WORRY! BE HAPPY!ALOHA FRIENDS :)
I figured I should blog because I'm in such a fantastic mood. To say the least, this week has been pretty amazing :) Basically we've just been starting new topics; which basically means getting new syllabuses, and getting half yearly results back. So far the results are as follows:
Chem: 52/55
Maths: 41/45
Bio: Haven't gotten all of it back but 14/15 for multiple choice
I also got back my advanced essay on institutions which I got 16/20; not my best but she marked everybody really hard so I'm so grateful I scraped in a high B! :)
Can I just say, I am SOOO glad I got that mark for maths. Honestly, I walked out of that exam wanting to die :( Originally Nguyen wrote on my paper 38/45 and I was happy, but slightly disappointed. Thankfully I re-counted all my answers and found the missing 3! YEEEY :) I came 2nd in my class with Cindy beating me by two marks. Congrats girl!. I could not be more proud of her; if anybody deserves results like that, it's Cindy.
Actually its quite funny, because after we all got our marks, Nguyen decided to give us all a pep-talk about how our marks could improve. He opened with something along the lines of me and Cindy getting our marks because we work our asses off. This is not the exact truth. HAHA. Cindy does. I literally sit next to her and distract her ehehe (A) I'm preparing her for the future guys! I'm a representation of distractions that could occur during exams (: HEHE But yes. I'm so proud of her...and myself - I'm trying very hard not to sound up myself :( EHEHEH guys 91%! life is great right now. I would like to thank my brother right now :') thanks for your patience (L)
Okay chem. I think I must be the luckiest person alive. That exam was quite tricky and I am so glad I can bs short answers haha. The three marks that I lost were because I didn't know the answers so I'm quite happy to lose them because at least I can learn from them :). I know now :
a) Aluminium is the most abundant metal on earth
b) An allotrope is like graphite and diamond and thus would have different melting points.
c) How to properly draw Lewis Dot ; well Alex is going to teach me but lifes still good!
I swear, I wasn't even there to look at the sheet and see that I came first. HAHA I came back from debating and people were like oh congratulations...for whattt?! hahaha :) and then Janne told me my mark and I was like WHUT THE HELL?! I would like to thank Tommy now for helping me with Chem whenever I needed it!
Oh and we won debating :)
I'm kinda scared to get my bio and legal results back but heres to a great week!
stay happy and remember women aren't in moods, they are moods.

HOLA AMIGOOOOOS :Dokay I might've started my last post with the same greeting but I really can't remember, you guys know I have a dodgy memory. Also I'm in a very spanish speaking mood. As I'm typing this I'm speaking spanish with daniel. ahhaa. I must admit our vocabulary is very limited, with our primary word being
- Hola
- Amigo
- Gracias
- Como estas?
- Estoy Bien gracias
- Senor
- Senorita
- Si
- No.
HAHAHA so multilingual hey? So I should be studying legal right now...the keyword being SHOULD, but honestly, I've read my notes so many times and it's not sticking. Hopefully it'll just be one of those things where I know enough to bs it ...yeeey! Dux of the school...I think so? Actually speaking of, in our bio exam, everyone was sitting around me - I'll tell you more about it after - but like they were asking me last minute questions and like one of them said I'd be dux of the school and I was like HHAHAHAHA AS IF ! It always makes me feel good when people think I'm smart...my illusion is working guys! should be a magician hey?
Okay so exams.
Maths - Was okay. Didn't get enough time to check everything properly, but like there was a complete the square question, and I asked tommy to do it after and he got the same answer I did SO life is great! :)
Chem - Terrible. It was so hard. Even Karen said so :/ I know I already got one wrong. :( DAMMIT. I guess we'll see. There was lots of bs-ing but I kinda knew so I can only go up right?
Bio - Even worse than chem. I swear half of the stuff in it we never learnt :( I was helping everyone study in the library from like 10:20 - 1:30. hahaha. But they actually learnt stuff so I felt goooood :)
SO theres only legal left. Then on tuesday me, karen and daniel are going avengers YEEY :D I'm trying to find a fourth cos life is better in even numbers but everyones got bloody eco that day. LIKE WHAT THE HELL?! and tommy has engo :( I'm so sad.
ALSO, I think I'm changing my movie piece for music from 'dance of the sugarplum fairies' to 'go the distance' from Hercules. click it.
This is the exact version I want to do, but I have to buy the book, so its gonna cost me like $25 :( SADLYF, but when I ace it it'll be worth it. Its such a lovely piece of music too. :') My plan is to try and find someone who can/will sing it for me, but at the moment, I can't think of anyone who will be able to do it justice; only because the singers are mostly like rnb not so much that disney motivational tone, if you know what I mean. I don't know. Its a style on its own and I think it needs to be spot on. Plus I don't want to add any additional pressure to anyone, but I'll see how it goes. If you guys need a motivational song, swear listen to this. :') But first of all I need my teachers approval. Im scared he'll say no like he did with Karen :(
anyway, wishing everyone a great week :)
speak soon,
stay motivated and remember you can go the distance.
xx

HOLA AMIGOS ! :)hope you've all had a great first day back at school. :D heres to a great term 2! =D
to all year 11's, good luck in your half-yearlies :) Hope you had an awesome holiday filled with lots of studying so you're not too stressed now...no? okay. Here's to late night cramming :)
My schedules not too bad, goes a little something like this :
its actually really good. most of them are in the morning so I get to go home early. yeeey :)
I'm still upset that chem and bio are on the same day, but that just means I'm gonna kick science ass (H)
English today was pretty good. The short answer questions were stupid to say the least. The texts themselves were alright. I really liked the poem "The Subtleties of our Lives" and the extract was alright, but the picture was soooo dodgy. looked like clip art taken from word or something. :(
Extension was amazing. I was so worried and nervous before hand. One time I practised I talked so fast no one understood me. Someone even asked if I was breathing :/ But I was called thorough (H) ehehe except she told me that I had to learn how to breathe..oops? :)
Okay so yesterday - I know its a bit out of order - but yesterday I got chilli in my eye. D: LET ME TELL YOU; you thought onion was bad, chilli is 37298173146932 times worse :( I couldnt study for english properly for like an hour because it would keep getting irritated. I won't even bore you with the specifics of how I got it in my eye, but lets just say I won't be chopping vegetables then rubbing my eyes for a very long time.
OH and the other day I had a dream where Ben from dance academy fell in love with me (A) its cos im pretty isnt it? LOL :D knew it.
ALSO :
Tommy says:
*Two teens shot by police in Kings Cross
*ur on the news
Isn't he nice?
Anyway, have a great examination period guys :)
stay nerdy and remember a red blood cell walked into a bar. the hostess asked if he would like a seat. he replied "no thanks, I'll just circulate."

Trying to make a move just to stay in the game

hey guys :)
well basically if I could sum up my mood for today this week in one word it'd have to be UGHHHHHHHHHHH. I'm just so tired; but not that tired that you can sleep off, its that tired that comes from doing the same thing week in and week out. That kind of tired that doesn't really ever leave you. :(
Well today was terrible. Mainly because I'm terrible at chem :( Maybe it was just today but if I'm struggling now I'm scared how I'm going to be in year 12 :(. One word. Redox. Sad moment when I don't even know what to do. I sat there for a period and a half trying to get it. It was so stressful...I still don't know what to do. Something about half equations..or something of the rather. Anyway, it doesn't matter. What matters is I've come home and eaten half a tub of ice cream to swallow my feelings. My tongue is crazy numb and my throat is so dry but it doesn't matter. What matters is I don't want to kill myself as much now. Lifes great. My next move from here is to ask Tommy for help...but I don't want to scare him away; I get mean and difficult when I'm confused :(
I also got to see the half-yearly exam timetable. it not looking too bad...if you overlook the fact that I have chem and bio on the same freakin' day! cue stress. Today just isn't a good day for my relationship with chem is it? :( Basically this is what I remember...
First tuesday back : English (adv)
Wednesday : no exams - public holiday
Thursday : 2u Maths
Friday : Chem and Bio.
Monday : Legal
Tuesday (last day of examination period) : No exams
Somewhere in there I'll have to squeeze in my extension assessment but thats like a 10 minute interview and a submitted response so its all good :)
Well, that's all for today. I hope next weeks better..much better.
Gonna go get some more ice cream; stay cool (ahh get it? cool? ice creams cool? AHHH) and remember a dream is a wish your heart makes.
