I hope you all had a click of the MB20 video attached at the beginning. It's a song very close to my heart right now. I seriously just need someone to sing this to me and let me know I'm actually all good. Not to sound depressed or anything, because I'm really not, but I actually feel really fragmented, like my life is all over the place. Just going through the motions. It's my chance to rediscover myself but y'know that feeling of disappointment when you realise there's actually not much going on up there?
ONTO HAPPIER THINGS THOUGHHHHHHH
This Saturday me and my cousin are going to go see Joel Creasey *cue excitement*. I have actually been waiting for this for so long and it'll be an awesome break from all the heavy uni work. For anyone who hasn't heard of him/watched him, he's an extremely gay, extremely fashionable, extremely hilarious Australian comedian (see below video!). I've read reviews of his shows and they've spoken very highly of him so I'm ready to piss my pants. :))))
Other upcoming events include Disney on Ice with Cindy and possibly going to see Wicked...depending on funds and date availability :D
Okay so I've covered, uni, friendship, life and love...I guess all that's left is family. Archer (my nephew) is growing everyday and I swear everytime I see him it's like a new boy. He say's things like car, bus, mum and turtle...yet he can't say kowe (note that is NOT cow. HAHAHAHA Kowe is Aunty in Chinese!) yes. turtle apparently trumps kowe. We got to see him this weekend and god I love that menace. He just runs around everywhere hahaha. Speaking of, Happy birthday to my sister Selina! :) it was her birthday last Sunday so family came over and we had a nice dinner and cake :D although, my sister requested flourless cake (shes on a health kick at the moment) and at first I was like really?, but I actually ended up eating like 3 pieces...I'm not fat.
Anyway, I hope this post has kept you sufficiently intrigued to find your way back here.
Stay unfragmented (whole) and remember to sleep pain away.
xx

hope you all had wonderful weekends. I, myself had a pretty good one. Went shopping at DFO today with my sister - selina- and picked up a crap load of bargains. By the end of it was carrying about 9-10 different bags and I had only spent like $50ish? By far my favourite purchases have been...

Even if you aren't asian of any sort, I still wish you a very lucky and auspicious year and if you know anybody who wants to have babies tell them to have it this year. The Dragon is the best one to have a baby in so watch out people, we're going to have an influx of asian babies this year hehe.
Well this new year was celebrated pretty much as every other. We cook heaps of delicious food and we offer it to an ancestors. We burnt money which was pretty usual except my brother and sister were arguing about who made the BBQ fork we were using to toss the money. Apparently, they made the exact same ones. Selina claimed my brothers would've broken by this year - he made it back in 1995. My brother claimed it was his full stop. My siblings are entertaining no?
After that we ate lunch and then me and Selina hung out at my brothers place. In total I made $70 in red-pocket money which is a substantial improvement on the annual $0 I make every new year :). So thanks to my parents for $50 and my brother and sister-in-law for $20 (L)(L) Much appreciated.
Onto other news, the guinea pigs are back at the lim household as my brother + wife are going to Melbourne for the Australian Open on Wednesday. I missed them dearly and they'll be here for a week so I'm so excited :') Although while traveling in the car from my brothers to here, they kept climbing on each other. At one point Baby had her bum/foot on Jelly's face and I was so scared she was going to pee at any second. They have no control of their bladder...no control whatsoever.
Also, just a random little rant. I hate people who ask stupid questions.

x: what did you do today?
me: I bought a school diary
x: don't you get that free when you pay for school fees?
OBVIOUSLY IF I'M PAYING FOR ONE NOW I DON'T PAY FOR ONE IN MY SCHOOL FEES! Think people. THINK! I get so frustrated :@:@:@:@:@
Anyway, all in all, this new year has literally been one of the best. I wish you all a great one :)

I know my posts have gotten relatively smaller and/or much much boring but I am going to try and get more interesting :( Don't worry, the New Years Party is coming up - duh - so hopefully I'll have some fun stuff to put up plus some photos :D
Anyway, I just wanted to tell you about my addiction to Suits because I haven't told you. If you guys like drama and intelligence I swear watch it. I'm totally in love with Patrick J. Adams who plays Mike Ross. Me and Luke had an agreement that I'm going to split up Mike and his non-girlfriend girlfriend Rachel up so he gets Rachel and I get Mike and then we're going to have a double wedding on the beach..YAYAYAYAYAYYAYAYAYAYA :). our babies will be smart and beautiful :') But I'm sad I'm getting close to the season finale. I've watched all New Girl, Awkward and soon to be Suits. WHAT WILL I WATCH NOW?!?!?!? I guess I could try and finish Big Bang but I dislike Amy so yeh :( first world problems.
OH yesterday me and my sister were having the most intelligent conversation.
Selina: Without money we'd all still be primates.
Me: We ARE primates its our genus...wait no...what's the one before that? (she did biology in high school by the way)
Selina: Kingdom?
Me: No that's the first one!
Selina: I think it IS our genus
Me: It can't be because we're Homo Sapiens thus making Homo our genus
*Selina giggles*
Me: Homo?
Selina: Yes *full starts laughing*
Mature right? Ah my sister. But seriously guys. She is smart. Don't let this fool you.
Today, I also drove on my first Motorway. WOOOOH. Scariest shit it D:
But I and all the other users survived. YAY ME :')

So today me , my sister (Selina) and my mum went to the movies to watch War Horse. I'll admit I was reluctant to watch it. The trailer didn't appeal to me and the name sounded scary - I hate war movies, they're just too sad. Anyway, when we arrived and sat down me and my sister just laughed. We were literally surrounded by middle aged to elderly people. It was so embarrassing!!! Nonetheless the movie was amazing. I seriously recommend it to everybody because it had me in tears. It was sooooo cute (L) I want a horse now. hehehehee. Anyway, I also drove on a 70km road and oh my god I was freaking out. Watch out world. Melanie's going faster :D

I truly hope you all had a fantastic Christmas with your family and friends :) I myself had a particularly memorable one :) It started with texts to my closest lovelies at 12 to wish them a grrrrrreat Christmas.
So I woke up that morning to a Christmas tree full of presents and a couch full of my sisters...well 2 of them spread out because the weather was so warm it was awesome :) my cousins didn't come over till 12 and we couldn't open presents till my brother got there at about 4 :'( but nonetheless it was all good. We watched Thor and its a GRRREAT movie. He's so hot (L)(L)(L). After lunch we took a bit of a walk to walk off our food babies hehehe
